How to Reach Us

By air
If you travel by air, the ferry and hydrofoil ports of departure for Ischia can be reached by public transport or by taxi. From the Naples Capodichino airport, the Calata di Massa and Molo Beverello embarkation quays – which are a mere 800 metres apart - can be reached by making use of a shuttle bus which directly connects the airport to the Naples Harbour. Tickets can be purchased on board. When using a taxi service it is advisable to ask for the pre-defined fare set by the municipal administration at approx. 16 Euro for the port of Naples and 20 Euro for Mergellina.

By train
There are two stations serving Naples: the main station, on the Garibaldi Square, where it is advisable to alight if you intend embarking from the port of Naples, and the Mergellina station which is closer to the port of the same name, from where, however, one can only get to Ischia by hydrofoil. From the central station, the port of Naples can be reached by public bus, purchasing the relative ticket at the railway station itself. From the Naples Central Station the Mergellina embarkation points can by reached by Metro. The Metro station is inside the central station. By taxi, the predefined fare for the port of Naples is around ten Euro

By car
If travelling by car, by taking the ring road, both the Calata di Massa quay in the port of Naples and the port of Pozzuoli can be reached from the highway. To reach the port of Naples from the highway, take the A1 highway link towards "Naples - Port"; travel along the Via Marina until reaching the Calata di Massa exit. To reach the port of Pozzuoli from the highway, once the Naples tollgate is reached, continue for approximately 12 Km and get onto the Ring Road in the Pozzuoli direction, travel the whole Ring Road and take the first exit after the "Via Campana" tollgate, then follow the road signs for the Port. From the port of Pozzuoli ferries are available, for cars as well, for both Ischia Porto and Casamicciola Terme.
