A tour around paradise: Have you already admired our land, its natural environment, the untarnished beaches, and its most secret places?
Then it is time to know another side of the island: Its open sea, its coasts, its secret bays. A tour of the island on a boat will allow you to enter in a remote and wild world, with long stretches where houses or men do not disrupt Ischia's purest natural wilderness. You will also have the opportunity to admire in the distance little towns sitting on the coast, the outline of churches on sea promontories, the Aragonese Castle from all sides, and romantic ports of this thousand faces island. Stopping here and there, you will get to wear goggles and flippers and swim in the crystal waters, admiring the sea bed of posidonia, rocks, and submerged caves. Most certainly it is worth a visit to San Pancrazio and to the Scarrupata: Both these creeks can be reached only via the sea, and they are a real paradise for the lovers of snorkelling. Also, here you can stop at the restaurant of the Scarrupata bay, specialized in sea dishes to be enjoyed under a typical pergola made of grapes. It is also mandatory to stop in Saint Angelo, the small village of fishermen which is today among the most trendy places of the island. It is a quick visit. There you can cast the anchor and look around the sophisticated boutiques, or visit the small square for an ice-cream. On the boat again, stop in Sorgeto, a creek on the coast of Panza. Here you will find warm pools of thermal water on the shore, for a spring water treatment in the sea! And, in route toward the sunset, you will find Forio and one of the most picturesque shows of the world: The sun goes to sleep and fires up the sky, it then plunges in the water which becomes pink. If you view this natural phenomenon, it is really a mystical experience!
